I'm Chris LaCounte and I teach Medical
Terminology online for ENMU Ruidoso. I am a registered nurse as well as
a licensed paramedic. I have been a travel nurse for the past four +
years working emergency departments around the USA accompanied by my
wife of 25 years, Cheri (who also teaches for ENMU). We are proud
parents of our son
who continues his graduate work in Indiana after graduating from New
Mexico Tech last May.
I entered nursing 10 years ago after a successful career as a classically trained chef. I teach both nursing and EMS courses online, as well as continuing my nursing education via the online arena. I look forward to completing my degree and pursuing face to face nursing education at the university level as well as continuing patient care in the emergency setting.
